Top Professional Volleyball Players from across the Nation to Compete on Sept. 5 for a $6000 Purse

Panama City Beach, Fla. (Sept. 5, 2009) The EVP® Tour, the largest national pro-am volleyball attraction in America, will make its mark in Panama City Beach on Labor Day Weekend.  This high-adrenaline action will feature the top athletes and free agents for a fun filled day of tournament play along with contests, a clinic with the professional athletes and awards.  With a $6,000 purse, teams from around the nation including Hermosa Beach, Santa Barbara, Chicago, Seattle, Detroit, Miami Beach, St. Louis, Racine, Naples Long Island and many more  will compete on the beautiful white sand along Panama City Beach.

What: The EVP® Pro Tour Labor Day Event – “THE BIG SWING”

When: Saturday, September 5th
Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.
Bump & Serve Contests begin at 10:30 a.m.
“Clinic with the Pros” begins at 2:00 p.m.
Tournament Play throughout the day

Where: Boardwalk Beach Resort, 9400 South Thomas Drive

About EVP:
The EVP Tour's primary aim is to support beach volleyball events that result in sponsors, participants, spectators and host communities feeling like "That was worth the trip, I wish the EVP Tour can make that happen here every weekend! We feel like a part of the game". Additional results include media exposure for the tour that increases participation at all levels. The EVP Tour is dedicated to providing its customer with more value than they have been promised. On a local level, the EVP Staff and its Network members' aim is to develop new job opportunities and sponsor assets for the athletes in their region. The goal is to channel the resources to support the top team so they can compete and earn a living on the national EVP Tour event.
